Inconel 718 consists primarily of nickel (52%). Alloying elements include iron (19%), chromium (18%), niobium + tantalum (5%), molybdenum (3%), titanium (0.9%), aluminum (0.5%), in addition to other trace elements such as Baron, Cobalt, Copper, Manganese and Silicon.

INCONEL 718 alloy was primarily chosen by design engineers for its high strength in extreme temperature conditions at both ends of the spectrum. It can be used from low temperatures all the way up to 1300¡ãF/704¡ãC. It exhibits extremely high yield, tensile and creep rupture properties across the entire range. It also exhibits excellent tensile and impact strength.

The Alloy 800 series (Incoloy 800, 800H and 800HT) are nickel-iron-chromium superalloys that provide high temperature strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization and other types of high temperature corrosion. Alloy 800 (UNS N08800), Alloy 800H (UNS N08810) and Alloy 800HT (UNS N08811) have the same nickel, chromium and iron content, except for the total titanium and aluminium content (0.85 to 1.2%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance.

Alloy 800 has moderate corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content. At high temperatures, it has resistance to oxidation, carburization and vulcanization as well as fracture and creep strength.

Incoloy 825 is a superalloy with molybdenum and copper added to Incoloy 800. This makes Alloy 825 superior to Alloy 800 in terms of corrosion resistance.

Alloy 800 has moderate corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content. At high temperatures, it has resistance to oxidation, carburization and vulcanization as well as fracture and creep strength.

Their Inconel surface becomes corrosion resistant due to the formation of patina. Incoloy material has a higher iron content and is less expensive than Inconel products. They are also resistant to corrosion from a variety of materials, including steam and acids. These materials are resistant to seawater, acid gas and saltwater environments.

Resistance to chloride ion corrosion is one of the main factors that facilitate the use of incoloy grades in different industrial applications.

Inconel is a superalloy made of high concentrations of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. Inconel 625 is highly resistant to corrosive and oxidizing media in a variety of environments. These alloys have excellent ductility and excellent formability. They can be welded easily and are resistant to post-weld carburization or graining.

Inconel 625 material has excellent strength and hardness. They have a minimum tensile strength of 120Ksi and a minimum yield strength of 60ksi. In addition to that, they can easily be stretched up to 30% and still have excellent workability.

Inconel 625 alloy is widely used in chemical processing, pollution control, evaporators, nuclear reactors, marine industry and more.

Alloy 625 has excellent fatigue strength and stress corrosion cracking resistance to chloride ions. This nickel alloy has excellent weldability and is often used to weld AL-6XN. This alloy is resistant to a variety of severe corrosive environments, especially pitting and crevice corrosion.

Some typical applications for Inconel 625 include chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution control equipment and nuclear reactors.

Inconel 718 is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium alloy with high creep rupture strength at elevated temperatures around 700oC (1290oF). It is stronger than Inconel X-750 and has better mechanical properties at low temperatures than Nimonic 90 and Inconel X-750.

Inconel 718 is a nickel-based superalloy ideal for applications requiring high strength in the temperature range from cryogenic to 1400¡ãF. Inconel 718 also has excellent tensile and impact strength.

The premium composition of molybdenum and nickel content of c276 is used to make nickel steel alloys. It helps resist crevice and pitting corrosion in reducing environments. Chromium, on the other hand, is used to impart resistance to oxidizing media.

Hastelloy c-22 and c-276 are the only materials resistant to corrosion in wet chlorine, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions, with significant resistance to high chloride solutions such as ferric and cupric chlorides. Corrosion resistance.

Hastelloy C276 is known for its excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of corrosive media. It includes chloride ions, sulfur compounds, etc. In addition, this alloy has excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It helps resist the corrosive effects of wet chlorine, chlorine dioxide and hypochlorite. This product is ideal for seawater applications.

C276 is forged between 2250/1750oF (1230/955oC) and then soaked at the forging temperature for 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging should begin immediately, the billet is removed from the reheat furnace, a 25/40% reduction helps retain as much internal heat as possible. Hastelloy is a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy that contains other chemical elements such as chromium and molybdenum. This material has high temperature resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C276 is one of the Hastelloy grades used in the oil and gas industry.

Alloy 600 / Inconel 600 is a combination of nickel chromium and iron that provides the standard material for the chemical industry and the automotive engine, aero engine and airframe sectors. Controlled chemical composition is restricted for use in the nuclear industry to eliminate the risk of stress corrosion cracking in high-purity water containing chloride ions.

The versatility of INCONEL 600 alloy allows it to be used in a variety of applications involving temperatures ranging from cryogenic temperatures to over 2000¡ãF (1095¡ãC).

This alloy is widely used in the chemical industry for its strength and corrosion resistance. Applications include heaters, stills, bubble columns, and condensers for fatty acid processing; evaporator tubes, tube sheets, and sheeting trays for the manufacture of sodium sulfide; and equipment for processing abietic acid in pulp production.

Alloy X is known for its excellent high temperature strength and can withstand temperatures up to 2200¡ãF. The alloy can also be easily fabricated by manual and automated methods with forming and welding properties. In addition, Hastelloy X is resistant to corrosion, heat and oxidation and can withstand reducing or neutral atmospheres and oxidation.

Superalloys have good oxidation and creep resistance and can be strengthened by methods such as precipitation hardening, solution hardening and work hardening. They can also function under high mechanical stress and high temperature and where high surface stability is required.

Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy with excellent general corrosion resistance and good machinability. The alloy should be considered for use in environments requiring resistance to thermally contaminated inorganic acids, organic and inorganic chloride-contaminated media, chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, seawater and brine solutions.

Hastelloy C-276 resists the formation of grain boundary deposits in the weld heat affected zone, making it a candidate material for most chemical and petrochemical processing applications in the as-welded state. The alloy resists general and localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy C-276 is easily fabricated by welding, using methods similar to those used for nickel-based alloys.

Hastelloy C-276 also has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres, as well as excellent resistance to many different chemical environments.

Hastelloy C-276 is the most common corrosion resistant material currently available, but it is not foolproof. Metals should not be exposed to high temperature, strong acid environment. Also, it is easier to work with cold working practices; hot working makes it easier to harden. If hot working, the temperature should be maintained between 1600¡ãF and 2250¡ãF.

Alloy C-276 is also defined as Alloy C276, Inconel C 276 or Hastelloy C, which is a superalloy with a perfect combination of molybdenum, nickel and chromium. Tungsten is added, which is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance even in harsh environments.
