Round head bolt Incoloy 800 N08800 bolts Yield
Incoloy 800 is primarily used in applications up to 1100¡ãF, where 800H and 800HT alloys are typically used where creep and rupture resistance is required above 1100¡ãF. The chemical balance allows nickel steel alloys to exhibit excellent resistance to carburizing, oxidizing and nitriding atmospheres.
INCOLOY 800 alloy is an alloy of nickel, iron and chromium. The alloy remains stable and maintains its austenitic structure even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Other properties of this alloy are good strength, and high resistance to oxidation, reduction and aqueous environments. The standard forms available for this alloy are round, flat, forged billet, tube, plate, sheet, wire and strip.
Incoloy 800 was the first of these alloys and it was slightly modified as Incoloy 800H. This modification is to control carbon (.05-.10%) and grain size to optimize stress fracture performance.
