stainless steel 17-4ph bar stainless steel S17400 630 bar
17-4 PH is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel with exceptionally high strength and hardness as well as excellent corrosion resistance. 17-4 PH has good processing characteristics and can be age hardened by a one-step low temperature treatment. 17-4 PH is a multipurpose material widely used in the aerospace, chemical, petrochemical, food processing, paper and general metalworking industries.
17-4 PH Stainless Steel (SS) is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel. Typical use is seen in applications requiring high strength and moderate corrosion resistance. The required strength and toughness can be controlled by the temperature range during heat treatment. HT PIPE offers high quality standards including UNS S17400, AMS 5643, ASTM A564 and ASTM A693 Grade 630.
17-4 stainless steel is a versatile and versatile precipitation hardening alloy used in many aerospace, nuclear and chemical processing applications. One of the original “PH” (precipitation hardening) grades, 17-4 offers a combination of oxidation and corrosion resistance, along with high strength, toughness, and the ability to obtain numerous excellent mechanical properties through heat treatment over a wide range of temperatures. 17-4 Can be machined in both annealed and heat treated conditions. Maximum toughness is obtained by aging at 1150°F, while maximum strength is obtained by aging at 900°F.
