Class 150 Uns N05500 Socket Weld Flanges A nickel-copper alloy, Monel 400 flanges are a solid solution nickel alloy that can only be hardened by cold working. Inconel 718 hex bolts are precipitation hardened bolts made from an alloy containing nickel as a base element, chromium and molybdenum, with additions of aluminum, titanium and cobalt. This alloy combines corrosion resistance and high strength with excellent weldability, including resistance to post-weld cracking. Inconel 718 has excellent creep rupture strength at elevated temperatures. Inconel 718 fasteners have been used in gas turbines, rocket engines, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps and tools.

Stainless steel 304/ 304L flanges may be manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47 with nominal composition of 18Cr-8Ni. The letter ¡°L¡± denotes low-carbon version of the 304 stainless steel.
