Stainless Steel Flange ASTM A182 309 1.4828 Flanges
Stainless Steel 309S Flanges can operate at temperatures up to 1038 degrees Celsius. They are made up of a material that is strong and corrosion resistant as well.
STAINLESS STEEL 309S WELD NECK FLANGE & CLASS 150 ASTM A182 F 309S THREADED FLANGE
ASTM A182 F 309S Flange can range from ? inches to 48 inches in nominal bore size. There are other types such as the Stainless Steel 309S Slip On Flanges which are used with seamless pipes to align the pipes at the right location by allowing the pipes to slip onto the flanges. They could be welded or fitted with bolts and nuts, threads or the combination of any of these procedures. The ASTM A182 F 309S Threaded Flanges are used with threaded pipes with male threads.
The presence of chromium and nickel in higher concentrations makes SS 309S Flanges excellent corrosion resistant alloys, also good heat resistant. These SS 309S Flanges hold their strengths in both normal and increased temperatures. The only aspect that differentiates them is the presence of carbon in different ratios. Alloy 309S contains relatively less percentage of carbon and this allows SS UNS S30900 Flange to control carbide precipitation and provides 309S Flange with amazing welding properties.
