316 material is the general name of 316 and 316L grades and in these days, all 316 grades are produced with lower carbon content so the producers produce 316 grade as 316/316L grade, which confirms both 316 and 316L grade. 1.4401 stainless steel is the second popular stainless steel grade and if 304 grade is not enough, then the first choise could be 316 (1.4401). Stainless steel has become the metal of choice on the market for a wide range of applications due to its corrosion resistance and because it is 100% solid all the way through and 100% recyclable. Compared with 304, 1.4401 grade material has more nickel content. Also molibdenium and nickel elements in 316 grade makes this grade more resistant to corrosion. It is easy to find 316 stainless in any shape or size and in Bir?elik warehouse, 316 grade is avaible in round, hexagonal, flat and square bar shape.
