Monel K500 fasteners are precipitation hardenable nickel and copper based alloy fasteners. These fasteners were developed for excellent corrosion resistance and have high hardness and strength. ALLOYK500 is a nickel-copper alloy that is age-hardened by the addition of aluminum and titanium alloys.

Incoloy 800, 800H and 800HT bolts are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization at high temperature exposure. Incoloy 800H fasteners and Incoloy 800HT fastener alloys are mainly high in nickel and chromium. Meanwhile, Inconel 800H/800HT? (UNS N08810 & N08811 / W.Nr. 1.4958 & 1.4959) is a solution-strengthened iron-nickel-chromium alloy usually offered as a dual-certified alloy that meets the elemental requirements of both alloys.

Inconel 718 hex bolts are precipitation hardened bolts made from an alloy containing nickel as a base element, chromium and molybdenum, with additions of aluminum, titanium and cobalt. This alloy combines corrosion resistance and high strength with excellent weldability, including resistance to post-weld cracking. Inconel 718 has excellent creep rupture strength at elevated temperatures. Inconel 718 fasteners have been used in gas turbines, rocket engines, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps and tools.

Monel 400 is an alloy of nickel and copper, which means that these components exhibit properties reminiscent of nickel and copper-based alloys. Monel 400 is versatile and can be used for both acid and alkali resistance. Seawater applications are common. One variant is Alloy 405 (UNS N04405). It contains slightly more sulfur, which improves machinability.

Alloy 20 is designed to withstand sulfuric acid. Its nickel, chromium, molybdenum and copper content all provide excellent general corrosion resistance. 926 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with a chemical composition similar to alloy 904L with 0.2% nitrogen and 6.5% molybdenum. The content of molybdenum and nitrogen significantly increases resistance to pitting and crevice in halide media. Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy. It has excellent oxidation resistance, workability and high temperature strength. It has excellent forming and welding properties, and is widely used in furnaces for aircraft and gas turbines.

These nickel-steel alloys are the same, except the 800H alloy has a higher carbon content, and up to 1.20% aluminum and titanium have been added to the 800HT alloy. General corrosion resistance is considered by many to be very good. Alloys 800H and 800HT exhibit excellent creep and stress rupture under solution annealed conditions.

Incoloy alloys belong to the Inconel family. This means that the alloy can be used at high temperatures. At high temperatures, a problem associated with certain grades of stainless steel is oxidation. The chemical composition of Incoloy 800 fasteners allows them to be used at high temperatures. The higher the carbon content, the more chance they have to withstand high temperatures. Therefore, manufacturers produce derivative alloys of UNS N08800 bolts, called Alloy 800H and Alloy 800HT, which have slightly different chemical compositions.

During natural gas processing, several common contaminants, such as water, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide, come into contact with equipment components, including alloy 600 studs. Hastelloy C-276 fasteners and other products in the Hastelloy family have excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidizing and reducing chemicals. Due to its adaptability, Hastelloy C-276 alloy can be used in problem areas and is more likely to occur in process areas. However, it should be noted that in environments where C-276 alloy weld joints are subject to attack, C-22 weld filler material should be considered.

Alloy 825 bolts have good mechanical properties from low temperatures to moderately high temperatures up to about 1000¡ãF. Microstructural changes that significantly reduce ductility and impact strength occur when used at temperatures above 1000¡ãF.

Alloy 20 Washers Also known as Carpenter 20 and 20CB-3, Alloy 20 washers offer users a combination of Nickel, Chromium, Molybdenum and Copper with good general corrosion resistance. Alloy 20 washers are best for moderate corrosion applications – better than steel alloys, but not as good as high performance nickel-based alloys such as Hastelloy C276. Alloy 20 is a nickel alloy specifically designed to withstand the harsh environment of hot sulfuric acid, but also performs well in a variety of other acids.

Alloy 20 is an upgrade to 316 stainless steel. Since iron is its most abundant constituent, it is classified as super-austenite. Even though its nickel content is less than half, the UNS system classifies it as a nickel-based alloy. Alloy 20 is resistant to hot sulfuric acid. It is often found in chemical mixers and fertilizer manufacturing equipment. In general, it is an economical alternative to alloy C276 and other materials with a higher nickel content.
