Inconel 718 alloy is used in large quantities in extreme environments, such as high-speed airframe components, cryogenic storage components, nuclear reactors, chemical processing, and gas turbine engine components.

Nickel Alloy 718 fasteners show good resistance in acidic, alkaline and neutral salt solutions, but severe corrosion occurs in oxidizing salt solutions.

Nickel Alloy 718 Nuts are also used for overheating power reasons at room or superheated temperatures for first-class corrosion resistance including resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, in addition to polythionate strain corrosion cracking.

The material has high corrosion resistance and high strength. The minimum tensile strength is 185ksi, the minimum yield strength is 150ksi, and the elongation is 12%. ASTM B637 UNS N07718 Nuts are also available in 331BHN or equivalent.

Inconel 718 is a molybdenum, chromium and nickel based alloy developed to resist a wide range of severely corrosive atmospheres, crevice corrosion and pitting corrosion.

Nickel alloy 718 hex nuts are typically used in high strength and high temperature applications up to 700 degrees Celsius. Due to their excellent mechanical properties, DIN 2.4668 flat washers also work well in cold environments.

Inconel 718 fasteners are commonly used in high temperature industrial applications such as exhaust systems, heat exchangers and engines. It can also be placed in corrosive and chemical processing environments. It has high withstand conductivity in high temperature environment.

Inconel Alloy 718 is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium material that can be used in temperatures from -423¡ã to 1300¡ãF. Alloy 718 for the petroleum industry is heat treated to a hardness not exceeding 40HRC, the maximum value allowed by NACE MR-01-75 to prevent stress corrosion cracking.

Inconel 718 is highly resistant to phosphoric and sulfuric acids as well as crevice and pitting corrosion. Our Inconel 718 fasteners have good mechanical properties at both room and elevated temperatures.

Inconel 718 Hex Nuts are also used in high temperature applications such as steam generators, gas turbines, rocket engines, spacecraft, pumps, tools and nuclear pressurized water reactors. Inconel 718 hex bolts are nearly twice as strong as Inconel 625 fasteners.

Inconel 718 also has excellent creep rupture strength at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF or 700¡ãC. Although Inconel 718 Studs can withstand temperatures up to 1800¡ãF or 982¡ãC, the tensile strength of these Inconel 718 Studs can be further increased by cold working to AMS 5962.

Inconel 718 fasteners are ideal for extreme environments where oxidation and corrosion resistant bolts are required, even when subjected to pressure and heat.

Inconel 718 fasteners have been used in environments from -400o F (-250o C) to 1300o F (700o C). Typical applications include gas turbine parts and cryogenic storage tanks.

Alloy 718 is a widely used hard Incoloy nickel grade fastener. Chromium and nickel are the basic elements, produced by precipitation hardening, and have excellent strength and corrosion resistance.

ASTM B637 UNS N07718 bolts are the trade name for Alloy 718, used primarily in the natural gas processing and nuclear industries.

UNS S2750 Super Duplex Fasteners have good weldability and can be joined to itself or other materials by shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, plasma arc welding, flux cored wire or submerged arc welding.

Duplex 2205 is a (two-phase) ferritic-austenitic stainless steel with high strength and excellenut corrosion resistance, with a maximum Brinell hardness of 290 (Rc31) in the annealed condition.
