Alloy 904L (UNS N08904) is a super austenitic stainless steel designed to provide moderate to high corrosion resistance in a variety of process environments. The combination of high chromium and nickel content, with the addition of molybdenum and copper, ensures good corrosion resistance.

904l stainless steel plate is a super austenitic stainless steel that provides moderate to high corrosion resistance in a variety of environments. A mixture of chromium and nickel content, along with the addition of molybdenum and copper, provides excellent corrosion resistance. With nickel 25% and molybdenum 4.5%, ASTM B625 UNS N08904 provides good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting and general corrosion, which are superior to 316L and 317L.

1.4539 plate, good oxidation resistance. However, the structural stability of this grade breaks down at high temperatures, especially above 400¡ãC. ASTM A240 UNS N08904 material can be solution heat treated at 1090-1175¡ãC followed by quenching. Heat treatment is suitable for hardening it. 1.4539 sheet is mainly used in oil refining equipment, pulp and paper processing industry, gas scrubbing plants, etc.

Super Duplex UNS S32750 is the most common Super Duplex grade on the market. UNS S32750 is a duplex stainless steel designed for use in corrosive chlorine-containing environments. It has very good localized corrosion and stress corrosion cracking resistance and high mechanical strength. Widely used in oil and gas, hydropower, pressure vessels, pulp and paper, structural parts and chemical tankers.

Alloy 2507 is a high strength duplex alloy. Super Duplex Plate is a dual ferritic and austenitic microstructured component designed with high concentrations of chromium, nickel and molybdenum. Super Duplex 2507 plate is used in systems where extra strength and enhanced corrosion resistance of different systems are required.

Light gauges of 2507 material can often be used to achieve the same design strength of thicker nickel alloys. Duplex 2507 plate is suitable for applications requiring excellent strength and corrosion resistance. It contains 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel.

The material of the super duplex S32750 sheet has increased tensile strength and yield strength. Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 plate has good ductility and toughness. AISI S32750 plate has good corrosion resistance compared to Duplex. The material of the super duplex steel S32750 plate has higher corrosion resistance.

Alloy 316H (UNS S31609) is a high carbon modification of Alloy 316 developed for high temperature service. This alloy has higher strength at elevated temperatures and can be used in structural and pressure vessel applications above 932¡ãF (500¡ãC). The higher carbon content of 316H also provides higher tensile and yield strengths than 316/316L, and its austenitic structure provides excellent toughness at low temperatures.

Machining of Hastelloy UNS N10276 polished plates is best done in the annealed condition. Since this particular alloy grade is prone to work hardening, only low cutting speeds are required.

Brushing these boards with stainless steel wire after the welding operation usually removes the hot color and likewise creates surface areas that do not require additional pickling.

Compared to Types 302 and 304, 316 stainless steel has higher corrosion resistance and high creep strength. It has improved high temperature strength over 304 and exhibits excellent pitting resistance. Grade 316 is non-magnetic in the annealed state.

Alloy 20 has a nickel content between nickel alloys and stainless steel. It can also be called alloy 20 stainless steel.

ASTM B463 UNS N08020 Sheet can be formed by hot or cold working using conventional methods. Hot forged material should be heated between 2100¡ãF and 2250¡ãF, with the temperature carefully controlled to ensure that the material does not drop below 1800¡ãF prior to forging. After hot working, the material shall be heat annealed between 1725¡ãF and 1850¡ãF for a minimum of 30 minutes per inch of thickness and then water quenched.

Alloy 20 steel plate is made of austenitic stainless steel. These steel sheets consist of nickel, iron and chromium. This makes these boards tougher and stiffer. Good weldability in all welding processes. The power plant uses Incoloy 800 plates for superheater and reheater tubes. Incoloy 800 Plates are commonly used in heat exchangers and process piping; carburizing fixtures and stills; furnace components; etc. Incoloy 800 coils are easily machined by standard methods.

Alloy 800 Coils are also used in extruded tubing for ethylene and steam methane reformers. The higher creep rupture strength of the Nickel 800 sheet is a result of the aluminum, carbon and titanium content.

UNS N08800 sheet has been used in a variety of industries and has become a mainstay in high temperature, high exposure applications.

Alloy 20 is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with copper and molybdenum added for maximum resistance to attack by acids, especially sulfuric acid.

Alloy 20 Plate or Alloy 20 is specially designed to deal with sulfuric acid. Its layers of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and copper all provide excellent novel corrosion resistance. Confined carbon plus columbium stabilization allows welding to be used in corrosive environments, usually without the need for heat treatment on the weld. At 33% nickel, Alloy 20 has practical immunity to chloride strain corrosion cracking. This alloy is often chosen to address SCC issues, which can also occur in 316L stainless steel.

The uns n08020 plate has a minimum tensile strength of 551MPa and a minimum yield strength of 241MPa. With this strength, the board is suitable for storage tanks, containers and panels.

These Hastelloy C276 contain a mixture of molybdenum, nickel and chromium species. Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (a form of easily degradable austenitic stainless steel) in chloride-containing solutions. Due to its high chromium and molybdenum content, it is resistant to oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids and exhibits excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

INCONEL 800H/HT – Alloy 800 (UNS N08800/1.4876) is a widely used material for equipment construction requiring corrosion, heat, strength and stability up to 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC) . Incoloy Inconel Alloy 800 has moderate corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content.

Inconel 825 is a nickel alloy that can be used in businesses that handle high thermal reactions. For example, Inconel 825 round bars are commonly used in industries such as air pollution control, chemical and petrochemical, steel pickling, ore processing, petroleum refining, offshore oil and gas production, food processing, and waste disposal.

Hardness and tensile strength can be increased by cold working, but modified by lowered carbon content providing good resistance to corrosion in welded construction where subsequent heat treatment is not practical.
