Super Duplex 2507 nut with excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking
Duplex 2507 possesses excellent mechanical properties. Often a light gauge of 2507 material can be used to achieve the same design strength of a thicker nickel alloy.
2507 has High imperviousness to chloride stress consumption splitting, High Strength, Better resistance than chloride setting and cleft consumption, Great general consumption resistance, Proposed for applications up to 600¡ã F, Low rate of warm development, Blend of properties given by austenitic and ferritic structure and Great weldability and workability. It has high thermal conductivity and a low rate of thermal expansion, allowing for use in heat exchangers and water heaters, though long term exposure to temperatures near or exceeding 600¡ãF will lead to a decrease in strength. It is widely used in oil & gas, hydropower, pressure vessels, pulp & paper, structural components and chemical tankers.
