A789 UNS S31803 and UNS S32205 are two grades of duplex stainless steel that are widely used in various industrial applications. The advantages of duplex steels include: good weldability and machinability, high resistance to corrosion fatigue, resistance to stress corrosion cracking (especially chloride stress corrosion cracking), erosion and high energy absorption.

Super Duplex UNS S32750 /F53 Flanges are made from a super duplex stainless steel grade that has 24% chromium, 3% molybdenum, 6% nickel and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, nitrogen and iron in the composition.

ASME SA 479 UNS S32205 Fastener is a corrosion resistant and high strength super alloy that can be used in low temperature ranges up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit.

S31803 has been supplemented by S32205 (F60) which dual conforms to S31803 but has a higher minimum N, MO, NI and Cr which guarantees a better corrosion resistance.

Duplex 2205 flanges are made from an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel, which was designed to deliver higher strength and corrosion resistance than 300 series stainless steels.

Super Duplex has all the benefits of other duplex steels, specifically the strength benefits of their biphasic structural composition of equal parts austenitic and ferritic stainless steel. This microstructure makes all duplex steels around twice as strong as regular single structure ferritic or austenitic steels, but Super Duplex has a higher chromium and molybdenum content, giving it considerably increased resistance to corrosion than its counterparts.

Super Duplex UNS S32760 is one of the most common super duplex grades on the market. UNS S32760 is a duplex stainless steel designed for use in corrosive chlorine-containing environments, with the addition of W and Cu compared to UNS S32750.

Duplex stainless steel 2205 alloy is a compound stainless steel composed of 22% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel nitrogen alloy.
It has high strength, good impact toughness and good overall and local stress corrosion resistance.

Which means that the ASTM A1082 UNS S32760 has good sub-zero notch ductility properties down to a temperature of minus 50¡ãC.
