Inconel 718 or Alloy 718 is the most commonly used hardenable Inconel nickel alloy grade. Due to its precipitation hardening and its main nickel and chromium components, this alloy has a combination of excellent corrosion resistance and high strength even at high temperatures.

Monel 400 Bolts and Nuts are made from a nickel-copper alloy for extreme corrosion resistance, especially in sour conditions. The material is also strong and rigid and can be used to produce bolts and nuts for high temperature service. The density of Monel 400 material is 8.8 grams per cubic centimeter. The strength also exceeds that of the 304, 316 and 310 grades of austenitic stainless steels. The minimum yield strength is 240MPa and the minimum tensile strength is 550MPa. UNS N04400 Studs are made from a single strand of Monel 400 material.

Hastelloy C-276 is a very popular alloy for us because of its high corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments. It has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine and mixtures of oxidizing acids containing nitric or chloride ions.

Alloy B Its popularity has been hindered by its availability. All of these materials are good against reducing acids, but very hard against oxidizing acids. Due to the high molybdenum content, this alloy is relatively expensive than other alloys. At the same time, it has excellent corrosion resistance to medium-concentrated sulfuric acid and various non-oxidizing acids, good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC), and good resistance to various organic acids.

Hastelloy Nickel Alloy B2 is a very chemically resistant alloy with high resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking in the heat affected zone. In particular, this alloy performs well in harsh environments such as sulfuric acid, hydrogen chloride and phosphoric acid. Alloy B is also known as WNR 2.4617 bolts and we offer these types of alloys in all material grades, gauges and sizes.

Hastelloy C-276 fasteners and other products in the Hastelloy family have excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidizing and reducing chemicals. Due to its adaptability, Hastelloy C-276 alloy can be used in problem areas and is more likely to occur in process areas. In Hastelloy C276 hex bolts, the chromium content is increased to about 21% and the molybdenum content is reduced to about 13%. Hastelloy C-2000 Fastener, also known by many as Alloy C-2000, is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. The C-2000 fastener (UNS N06200) is unique among other Hastelloy alloys with approximately 1.6% copper added to its chemical composition. These properties make them ideal for applications such as heat exchangers and industrial reactors. Hastelloy C2000 fasteners combine the excellent resistance to oxidizing media of C276 with excellent resistance to non-oxidizing environments, making it a unique alloy for protecting chemical process equipment under a variety of conditions, including fluids contaminated with iron ions .

The distinguishing feature of Hastelloy B3 hex bolts is their ability to maintain excellent ductility during transient exposure to intermediate temperatures. Hastelloy B3 bolts are made of an alloy containing nickel and molybdenum. These bolts are resistant to corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion cracking. These bolts can also withstand a variety of acid binding environments, such as those containing sulfuric, acetic, formic, and phosphoric acids.

Hastelloy 276 bolts and fasteners are suitable for most chemical applications in the welded condition. However, it should be noted that in environments where C-276 alloy weld joints are subject to attack, C-22 weld filler material should be considered. Hastelloy C276 socket head cap screws also have excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF.

The primary alloy base materials for Hastelloy C276 include metals such as nickel, molybdenum and chromium. In addition to these three metals, Hastelloy C276 fasteners also have tungsten added. It is well known that the addition of tungsten to superalloys can improve the corrosion resistance of alloys in various harsh environments. Hastelloy C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents such as ferric and cupric chlorides, hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride , seawater and brine solutions.

Alloy K500 studs are threaded rods with threads on both ends. They can be of different types depending on thread distance from center and thread type. The material is resistant to high temperature and high pressure. It has a melting point of 1350 degrees Celsius, a minimum yield strength of 790MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 1100MPa. These values are twice as strong as level 304.

Alloy 20, also known as “Carpenter 20” and “20CB-3”, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum stainless steel alloy designed for sulfuric acid applications. Its corrosion resistance also lends itself to many other uses in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and plastics industries. One of the main reasons that alloy 20 fasteners are so common is that they resist pitting and chloride ion corrosion, and their copper content protects it from sulfuric acid.

Alloy-20 is a “super” stainless steel designed for excellent resistance to acid attack. Its nickel, chromium, molybdenum and copper content contributes to its overall resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and general pitting attack. It is virtually immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking. It is often found in chemical mixers and fertilizer manufacturing equipment. In general, it is an economical alternative to alloy C276 and other materials with a higher nickel content.

Since iron is its most abundant constituent, it is classified as super-austenite. Even though its nickel content is less than half, the UNS system classifies alloy 20 as a nickel-based alloy. Alloy 20 is resistant to hot sulfuric acid, while Alloy 20 is stabilized with columbium to minimize carbide precipitation during welding. It has very good mechanical properties and can be manufactured relatively easily. Although the alloy was designed for industries related to sulfuric acid, it is widely used in the chemical industry all over the world.

Alloy B (UNS N10001) was developed to resist hydrochloric acid. Hastelloy B2 has replaced it. Alloy B3 (UNS N10675) is a newer variant with higher thermal stability. These alloy B2 bolts are a wrought nickel molybdenum alloy that can be used in the as-welded condition. It is highly resistant to hydrochloric acid of all concentrations and temperatures. Known as UNS N10665 bolts, these bolts are also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and pitting.

Inconel 725 bolt material meets ASTM B446, B564, F467, F468, UNS N06725, DIN EN 2.4856, AMS 5666 and BS 3076 specifications and is adequate for demanding strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature applications up to 1000o C (1800o F).

Alloy 725 (UNS N07725) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy that is highly corrosion resistant and age hardened to twice the strength of annealed alloy 625. The strength of Alloy 725 is increased by heat treatment rather than cold treatment. This also gives strength to large uneven parts that cannot be strengthened by cold work. Alloy 725 is used for hangers, landing joints and high strength fasteners in marine applications.

Inconel 725 bolts are an alloy of nickel, cobalt and niobium that is corrosion resistant, hardenable and extremely strong. The strength of this alloy is increased by heat treatment for high toughness and ductility.

718 bolts also has strong resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion cracking. Bolts of Inconel 718 are used for landing nipples, polished hole sockets in sour gas service, and side pockets or hangers. In addition, it is used in high-strength machines or tools in marine applications.

Alloy 926 (1.4529) screws are the perfect replacement for 316L when higher corrosion resistance is required without increased strength. Alloy 926 fasteners are considered a 6-molybdenum alloy (6-molybdenum or 6% molybdenum), similar to sister alloys AL6XN and SMO 254. In the stainless steel category, these 6 molybdenum alloys are considered very corrosion resistant.

Bolts made from Alloy 926 are a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with comparable corrosion resistance to Super Duplex 2507, but with slightly lower strength and cost. Chemically nearly identical to 6-molybdenum alloys AL6XN and SMO 254, alloy 926 is commonly used in paper mills, desalination and mild acid environments.
