The display of the factory of 304 wires

Stainless steel 304 is the most widely used stainless steel. Like 302, it has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. This alloy can withstand a variety of aggressive media, and its durability makes it easy to sterilize, which means it’s ideal for kitchen and food applications.

Alloy 304 is a standard 18/8 (18% chromium, 8% nickel) austenitic stainless steel wire rod and is the most commonly used stainless steel grade in the wire rod industry. It is a non-magnetic alloy in the annealed state, but becomes magnetic when cold worked. Alloy 304 is easy to weld and because of its high ductility is the choice for many deep drawn, spun or formed parts.

Meanwhile, Type 304 stainless steel is the standard alloy for wire ropes and cables. It is about the same strength as galvanized rope or cable, but more resistant to corrosion. It can be used in most industrial environments with acceptable corrosion resistance when used in seawater and salt water.
