Stainless steel 304 tubing is available as seamless or welded. Pipes can be drawn as seamless tubes from a single billet or welded from strip or sheet. There are different welding methods such as resistance welding for smaller pipes and electrofusion welding for larger diameter pipes.

SAE 304 stainless steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%)[1] metals as the main non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel. It is less electrically and thermally conductive than carbon steel. It is magnetic, but less magnetic than steel. Alloy 310 (UNS S31000) is an austenitic stainless steel developed for high temperature corrosion resistant applications. The alloy resists oxidation up to 2010oF (1100oC) under mild cycling conditions. Due to its high chromium and moderate nickel content, alloy 310 is resistant to sulfidation and can also be used in moderate carburizing atmospheres.

Stainless steel washers have a matte black finish. Grade 316 is a popular alloy of stainless steel with a melting range of 2,500 ¡ãF ¨C 2,550 ¡ãF (1,371 ¡ãC ¨C 1,399 ¡ãC). As an austenitic stainless steel alloy, it has qualities such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and high concentrations of chromium and nickel. The alloy has a tensile strength of 579 MPa (84 ksi) and a maximum use temperature of around 800?C (1,472?F).

The A182 F310 Flange is meant for forged or rolled flanges that have threads on them to be joint to the pipes with male threads. The threaded flanges are useful when the welding or bolting methods are not preferable.

A butt weld pipe fitting is designed to be welded on site at its end(s) to connect pipe(s) together and allow change in direction or pipe diameter, or branching or ending.

This fitting then becomes part of a system for transporting fluids (oil, gas, steam, chemicals, …) in a safe and efficient manner, over short or long distances.

254 SMO is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel developed for use in aggressive chloride-bearing media or seawater applications. The 254 SMO is characterised by its high chromium content, this is further complemented by its molybdenum and nitrogen content which gives 254 SMO excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Since these oil storage tanks are located in the Arabian Gulf (saline conditions) the use of this material was an optimal solution for the environment. In addition to this, the coating of the flanges was also specially selected due to its protective qualities.

Grade 1.4404 or 316L is an austenitic stainless steel AISI 316 with very good corrosion resistance due to its high chromium and molybdenum content and low carbon content. Its strength in the hardened state is about 600 MPa for large diameters, but for small sections, the strength can be increased by cold working.

It is designed with a combination of impact toughness resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion with strength that is twice that of the stainless steel 300 series.

AL-6XN is widely used because it is a 6% moly superaustenitic alloy providing strong resistance to chlorides found in ketchup, barbecue sauce, sports drinks, buffer solutions, and active pharmaceutical ingredients that commonly cause localized corrosion.

Stainless Steel 304L Flanges are made up of the basic 18-8 stainless steel material that has 18% chromium, 8% nickel, carbon, silicon, sulfur, manganese and phosphorus in the composition. The material has good strength and low corrosion resistance. The 304L Stainless Steel Slip on Flanges are made under different specifications and dimensions according to different standards.

Stainless Steel UNS N08904 stud bolt is hardnable and martensitic stainless steel with corrosion resistance similar to Type410, and also has higher carbon content to increase strength and hardness over Type 410. These stainless steel DIN1.4539 stud bolts can also be hardened through heat treatment, where in the instance, the material is heated to a minimum of 1472 degree F then quenched and cooled.
