Alloy 625 is a nickel-chromium alloy with high strength, excellent machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. Operating temperature ranges from cryogenic to 1800¡ãF. The strength of Alloy 625 is derived from the hardening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix; therefore, precipitation hardening is not required. This combination of elements also provides excellent resistance to a variety of unusually severe corrosive environments as well as high temperature effects such as oxidation and carburization.

In terms of mechanical properties, the alloy 601 flange has a minimum tensile strength of 550MPa, a minimum yield strength of 205MPa and an elongation of 30%. The material is denser than ordinary stainless steel and has a melting point of 1411 degrees Celsius. These flanges belong to the ASTM B564 specification, and the standards include ASME, ASTM, DIN and other international standards such as ASME B16.5, B16.47, etc.

Inconel X750 is an alloy that has a high resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

Inconel 600 is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties, combines high strength with good workability, and is easy to weld. Alloy 600 exhibits cold forming properties typically associated with chromium-nickel stainless steels.

It also exhibits extremely high tensile, yield and creep rupture properties at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for long-term use from low temperatures to 1200¡ãF. One of the defining features of the composition of B637 UNS N07718 is the addition of niobium to allow age hardening, which facilitates welding and annealing without unforced hardening during heating and cooling.

Alloy 600 is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties and a combination of high strength and good workability and is readily weldable.

The most common reason for Inconel is because it is an alloy that, despite exposure to high temperatures, provides excellent performance when common alloys fail.

The microstructure of Inconel 718 will not separate alloying elements in the heat affected zone or cause welding difficulties due to cracking.
