Stainless steel 316 butt weld joints are made of chrome-nickel-molybdenum alloy austenitic stainless steel. The material has good corrosion resistance, similar strength to 304 grade steel, and good hardness.

MONEL? alloy K-500 (UNS N05500 / W.Nr. 2.4375) is a nickel-copper alloy which combines the excellent corrosion resistance of MONEL alloy 400 with the added advantages of greater strength and hardness. The increased properties are obtained by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base.

The materials used to manufacture the fasteners are of top quality and standard, thus increasing the compatibility of the final product for adverse applications.

The benefits of using 2.4360 (Alloy 400) bolts include their high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The properties of ASTM F467 400 Monel are maintained in a wide range of acidic and alkaline environments. Alloy 400 bolts are ideal for reduced duty applications.

These pipes are difficult to machine because they harden from machining. Alloy 400 welded pipe can be processed using conventional techniques.
