Inconel 825 is a nickel alloy that can be used in businesses that handle high thermal reactions. For example, Inconel 825 round bars are commonly used in industries such as air pollution control, chemical and petrochemical, steel pickling, ore processing, petroleum refining, offshore oil and gas production, food processing, and waste disposal.

A182 F51 Duplex stainless steel composed of 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy. It has high strength, good impact toughness and good overall and local stress corrosion resistance.

Type 316 stainless steel is manufactured into another grade due to its wide range of potential and is distinguished by the use of the letter “L” in its name. L represents the low carbon content in the steel.

One exception, however, are strongly oxidizing acids such as nitric acid. Alloys that contain molybdenum generally do not perform as well in these environments.?

Therefore, materials with good ductility, such as Inconel 625 pipe, should be selected for piping systems with temperature fluctuations, especially because of their good properties.

Annealing softening begins at approximately 1600¡ãF (871¡ãC) and is fairly complete after 10 to 15 minutes of heating at 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC). Above this temperature, grain growth can be objectionable, although very brief heating at 1900¡ãF will result in complete softening without excessive grain growth. Since the cooling rate has no effect on softening, the material can be water quenched or air cooled.
