Duplex 2205 bolts have a ductile to brittle transition at -50¡ãC and also become brittle at 300-1000¡ãC, so a temperature of -50¡ãC to 300¡ãC is recommended. Exposure to above 300¡ãC will not only cause embrittlement of 2205 bolts, but will also reduce corrosion resistance.

UNS S32205 Hex Bolts (also known as S31803) are made of high grade duplex 2205 stainless steel. Because this material is composed of at least 22% chromium, 6% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, it can withstand some of the harsh environmental conditions that other metals cannot, such as corrosion, cracking, erosion, pitting, and more. The flange is second most used joining method after selding. Flanges are used when joints need dismantling. It provides flexibility for maintenance. A flanged joint is composed of three separate and independent although interrdlated components; the flanges, the gaskets, and the bolting; which are assembled by yet another influence, the fitter. Special controls are required in the selection and application of all there elements to attain a joint, which has acceptable leak tightness.

Super Duplex SAF 2507 is a really strong material with great corrosion resistance.

UNS S32205 dual-phase steel round bar has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high strength, can withstand brackish water or salt water impact, and high surface toughness.

The chemical composition specifications stated in the norm must be met by the steel Super Duplex Plate. The content, in this case Thick Duplex Alloy 2507 Cold Rolled Sheet, must also meet the required mechanical properties.

A Super Duplex 2507 Pipe has outstanding resistance to corrosive and oxidative media.

Duplex plates have a two-phase or two-phase microstructure. The microstructure of the duplex steel S32205 foil consists of equal proportions of ferrite and austenite.

Our Duplex Steel S31803 bar is an industrially processed nitrogen-modified steel that addresses common corrosion problems encountered with 300 series stainless steels.

These grades are excellent for fixed service simple flange connections, but slightly less so when forming a complex metallic shape. Fortunately, the workability of duplex into complex and rounded structures is less of an issue in structural steel given the wide preference for simple mild steel in non corrosive applications.

2205 duplex pipe is not recommended to be used at a temperature above 572¡ãF. Due to the presence of higher chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen contents, 2205 duplex stainless steel tubes demonstrates superior corrosion resistant properties in comparison to the more conventionally used austenitic stainless steel grades 316 and 316L in most environments.
