926 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with a chemical composition similar to alloy 904L with 0.2% nitrogen and 6.5% molybdenum. The content of molybdenum and nitrogen significantly increases resistance to pitting and crevice in halide media. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen not only ensure the metallographic strength, but also reduce the separation of the intergranular thermal tendency. Alloy 926 is a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with excellent resistance to a variety of highly corrosive environments. They are used in a variety of heavy duty applications including chemical storage and processing, aerospace and food processing.

Hastelloy C276 Bolts and Nuts can be used in harsh and harsh environments including acid, alkaline, brackish and salt water environments. Incoloy A-286 stud bolt is a Fe-25Ni-15Cr base superalloy reinforced by molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, vanadium and trace boron. It has high yield strength and durability, creep strength below 650 ¡æ, good processing plasticity and satisfactory welding performance. There are different sizes according to different standards of ASTM B574 UNS N10276 Fasteners. Hastelloy C276 alloy is very easy to manufacture and does not require heat treatment after welding. Hastelloy C276 alloy excels in many industrial applications (i.e. chemical processing).

Grade 1.4529 is a high alloy stainless steel of austenitic structure and can be classified as a nickel alloy (by US standards). Delivered in a supersaturated condition, it exhibits resistance to intergranular corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion, salt, seawater, chlorides, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and other highly concentrated liquid and gaseous corrosive chemicals. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen can not only improve the stability, but also reduce the tendency of separation of crystallization thermal process or welding process is better than the nitrogen content of nickel alloy. 926 has some corrosion resistance to chloride ions due to its localized corrosion characteristics and 25% nickel alloy content.

Alloy 20 is an iron-based austenitic alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to a variety of different media, proven in many applications such as flue gas desulfurization, chemical processing, food processing and storage, and pharmaceutical applications to name a few example. Our UNS N08020 Alloy 20 Studs are durable and perform well in acid affected environments such as chemical processing and sulfuric acid production centers.

Inconel 625 bolts have a high density of 8.44 grams per cubic centimeter. The material also has high strength values. The minimum tensile strength of the fastener is 880MPa and its minimum yield strength is 460MPa. Inconel 625 nuts have 50% elongation and good electrical resistivity.

Inconel 625 is an austenitic nickel-based superalloy. High levels of molybdenum and niobium strengthen the chrome-nickel matrix of alloy 625 screws. Inconel 625 Bolts are fasteners made from a nickel-based alloy containing chromium and molybdenum, with additions of aluminum and titanium.

INCONEL 625 is a high nickel superalloy commonly used in the oil and gas, petrochemical, aerospace and gas turbine industries. In addition to high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, it has excellent mechanical strength. Inconel 625 fasteners also have a melting point of 1290 to 1350 degrees Celsius. This enables them to operate at high temperatures. High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high strength make UNS N06625 Class 2 fasteners useful in power plant, chemical, medical and food processing industrial applications.

The addition of these two elements to Alloy 625 bolts eliminates the need for a precipitation hardening treatment because Inconel 625 nuts have a hardening effect. Inconel 625 fasteners provide high strength properties and high temperature resistance.

Monel K500 fasteners have trusted properties such as strength, hardness and fracture toughness, which are achieved through the addition of aluminum and titanium as well as nickel and copper alloys. Its basic composition is similar to ALLOY400, but alloys are added to allow age hardening under controlled temperature and time conditions.

Hastelloy C22 fasteners are a general-purpose grade composed of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and tungsten alloys. These designs are designed to increase resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking (SSC) and crevice corrosion cracking. Alloy C-22 has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents such as ferric and cupric chlorides, chlorine, hot fouling solutions (organic and inorganic), formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and seawater and Brine solution. C-22 alloy resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat affected zone and is therefore suitable for most chemical process applications in as-welded conditions.

No different elements – used as an alloying agent, not other types of steel, which makes nuts and bolts known as low-cost bolts. Carbon steel nut and bolt grades are divided into three different categories based on the carbon content of mild, medium and high carbon steels.

Carbon steel is defined as any steel with a carbon content not exceeding 2.1% by weight. Carbon steel bolts become harder and increase in strength after heat treatment as the carbon content increases. However, the ductility of the steel decreases.

Regardless of the heat treatment applied to the carbon steel alloy, the higher carbon content in the material reduces the weldability of carbon steel fasteners, while also effectively reducing the melting point of the bolt. Most carbon steel studs are generally softer.

Alloy 20 is an upgrade to 316 stainless steel. Since iron is its most abundant constituent, it is classified as super-austenite. Even though its nickel content is less than half, the UNS system classifies it as a nickel-based alloy. Alloy 20 is resistant to hot sulfuric acid. It is often found in chemical mixers and fertilizer manufacturing equipment. In general, it is an economical alternative to alloy C276 and other materials with a higher nickel content.

Incoloy Alloy 800 / 800H / 800HT Fasteners (Nuts and Bolts) series for extreme corrosion resistance even in sour environments. Due to the high nickel and chromium content, Incoloy 800 hex head bolts resist oxidation and carburization at high temperatures. The chemical balance allows Incoloy 800H square nuts to exhibit excellent resistance to carburizing, oxidizing and nitriding atmospheres.

Incoloy 800 bolts are best suited for applications that require stable construction and good strength over prolonged exposure to high temperatures. These bolts are used in a variety of industries involving corrosive environments and high temperatures. The Incoloy 800 series of nickel alloys includes Incoloy 800, 800H and 800HT. All of this is the same except for the higher carbon content in the 800H alloy and the addition of about 1.20% aluminum and titanium to the 800HT. Incoloy 800H offers improved stress rupture properties over 800. Incoloy 800HT improves this further to ensure optimum high temperature performance.

Monel 400 Bolt is a nickel-copper alloy, a solid solution nickel alloy that can only be hardened by cold work. Known for its corrosion resistance to reducing media and seawater, Monel 400 is also tougher than copper alloys in oxidizing environments. Monel 400 bolts, also known as Alloy 400, are also used in high temperature, caustic and salt solution applications.

Monel 400 bolts can also be used at higher temperatures. While Monel 400 bolts are typically used at elevated temperatures, they retain their mechanical properties at sub-zero temperatures. The increased hardness at freezing temperatures has been shown to only slightly impair the ductility or impact resistance of Monel 400 bolts. Even when cooled to the temperature of liquid hydrogen, Monel 400 will not undergo the ductile to brittle transition that can lead to fracture. This is especially unique compared to most ferrous materials, which are generally stronger but very brittle at extreme low temperatures.

Hastelloy Nickel Alloy B2 is a very chemically resistant alloy with high resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking in the heat affected zone. In particular, this alloy performs well in harsh environments such as sulfuric acid, hydrogen chloride and phosphoric acid. This nickel-molybdenum alloy is typically used under extreme reducing conditions and has a much lower composition of carbon, silicon and iron than Hastelloy B (Alloy B). Screws made from this alloy are also known as UNS N10665 fasteners.

Hastelloy X fasteners, also known as UNS N06002 fasteners, have excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. It is very resistant to stress corrosion cracking but has excellent ductility when subjected to 16,00 hours of torture at temperatures up to 1,600F. It is also suitable for furnaces, heaters and many high temperature applications because it is weldable, heat treatable and relatively easy to machine. That’s why we think Hastelloy X fasteners basically offer the best of both worlds – corrosion and heat resistance.

Inconel is an austenitic superalloy whose main alloying materials are nickel and chromium. This nickel based ASTM B166 Inconel 600 gasket is designed for applications ranging from low temperatures to high temperatures up to 2000¡ãF. The main feature of these alloy 600 screws is their enhanced corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. The increased tensile strength of Inconel 600 is enhanced by solid solution strengthening.

This nickel 2.4816 bolt is inherently non-magnetic. Inconel 600 Nuts and Bolts have excellent mechanical properties, offering buyers an advantageous combination of high strength and good weldability over a wide temperature range. The high nickel content in Inconel 600 screws allows them to maintain considerable resistance under reducing conditions. The nickel content in Alloy 600 bolts makes the fastener resistant to corrosion by a variety of organic and inorganic compounds. For example, Inconel 600 bolts have excellent resistance to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking, while also exhibiting excellent resistance to alkaline solutions.

Hastelloy fasteners such as bolts, screws, nuts and threaded rods are ideal for use in a variety of moderately to severely corrosive acid environments. The most common grade of Hastelloy fasteners is Hastelloy C276 (2.4819), which is one of the most versatile corrosion-resistant nickel alloys, surpassing Inconel or Monel. There are also other special grades of Hastelloy fasteners that can address more niche corrosion problems.

Hastelloy C276 is an extremely versatile material that has been used in a variety of harsh environments. It exhibits corrosion resistance to chloride-containing media, organic acids, oxidizing media, reducing acids, seawater and brine, and sulphur-containing flue gas. Hastelloy C276 replaces Alloy C (UNS N10002), which has slightly lower chromium and molybdenum contents. The high nickel, molybdenum and tungsten contents make them expensive compared to austenitic stainless steels. It is by far the most popular super alloy.

Inconel 601 fasteners are designed to withstand severe corrosion and high temperature exposure. These fasteners contain nickel and chromium alloys for excellent corrosion, heat and oxidation resistance. Nickel content retains ductility and high temperature strength after prolonged use. Fasteners of this grade produce a tightly adherent scale that resists spalling under severe thermal cycling conditions.
