Alloy 625 is a nickel-chromium alloy with high strength, excellent machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. Operating temperature ranges from cryogenic to 1800¡ãF. The strength of Alloy 625 is derived from the hardening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix; therefore, precipitation hardening is not required. This combination of elements also provides excellent resistance to a variety of unusually severe corrosive environments as well as high temperature effects such as oxidation and carburization.

The basic composition of Hastelloy C276 round bar alloy is chemically composed of three elements, which are nickel, molybdenum and chromium.

Incoloy 800 is part of austenitic steels. Inconel 800 Flat Bars are composed of high quality nickel, chromium, iron, manganese, molybdenum and other alloys. Uns N08800 round bars are designed with a rectangular cross-section.

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-chromium austenitic alloy. Incoloy 825 round bars have a round cross section and are embedded with an excellent chemical composition. Alloy 825 round bars can be alloyed with copper, molybdenum, and titanium to increase resistance to corrosive and oxidizing media.

High nickel content ensures resistance to stress corrosion cracking, combined with molybdenum and copper provides strong resistance to reducing environments such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid, chromium to resist oxidizing environments such as nitric acid, titanium to inhibit intergranular corrosion, and overall resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Titanium additions stabilize the alloy against intergranular corrosion susceptibility by appropriate heat treatment. The resistance of Incoloy? 825 to general and localized corrosion under a variety of conditions makes the alloy versatile.

Alloy 625 (UNS N06625) is a nickel-chromium alloy that is hardened by the addition of molybdenum and niobium, so the alloy does not need to be aged. It has excellent resistance to various corrosive environments and the high temperature effects of oxidation and carburization.

Inconel 625 round bar is extremely corrosion resistant in a variety of extremely corrosive environments.

The nickel content in UNS N08800 bars provides excellent resistance to chloride ion stress-related corrosion cracking, which in turn is another important feature of nickel alloy 800h round bars.

ASTM B425 UNS N08825 bar stock has a nickel content between 38% and 46% and is able to withstand a moderately high temperature range without affecting its tensile strength.

Monel 400 is an alloy of nickel and copper, typically formulated at about 67% nickel and 33% copper.

Alloy 400’s alkali resistance makes it ideal for deployment in highly acidic environments such as salt water, sulfuric acid or hydrofluoric acid.

Super Duplex UNS S32750 bar has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chlorine containing environments. After heating to a solution treatment temperature of 1080¡ãC to 1120¡ãC, quenching is required.

Super Duplex UNS S32760 has high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. For optimum corrosion resistance, a pickled or machined surface finish is recommended.

Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy used in applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance. This alloy has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits an ideal combination of high strength and good machinability over a wide temperature range.
