Nickel 201, LC Nickel 99.2; Alloy 201
Commercially pure (99.6%) wrought nickel is essentially the same as Nickel 200, but has a lower carbon content to prevent intergranular carbon embrittlement at temperatures above 600¡ãF (315¡ãC). The lower carbon content also reduces hardness, making Nickel 201 particularly suitable for cold-formed products.

Nickel 201 is a low carbon grade with low annealed hardness and a very low rate of work hardening, suitable for cold forming operations.

INCONEL alloy tubes are used in roller hearth ovens where they are exposed to blasts of very high temperatures, as well as the corrosive glazes applied to tiles.
