The alloy should be considered for use in environments requiring resistance to thermally contaminated inorganic acids, organic and inorganic chloride-contaminated media, chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, seawater and brine solutions.

C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to pitting and to stress-corrosion cracking. It is also one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.

Prefabricated steel s as the name itself sounds, is made of pre engineered steel. Fabrication is done in controlled environment inside the factory and then sent to client location for assembly.

Hastelloy fasteners can be used in applications involving a wide range of media, including reducing acids and oxidizing agents. As the most versatile alloy c276 fastener, it is most commonly used for bolting of all Hastelloy grade fasteners.

Although Alloy C276 plate has a higher rate of work hardening compared to its austenitic counterpart, in-process annealing may be required if nickel alloy C276 plate is to be work hardened to a higher degree. Hastelloy C276 ASTM Standard B575 Plate is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an enhancement of tungsten made to have superb deterioration.Alloy C276 nickel alloy plate is one of the premier corrosion resistant materials that performs exceptionally well in both oxidizing and reducing environments. It resists chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice and general corrosion.

Hastelloy C22, also known as Alloy C22, is a general purpose austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. High chromium content provides good oxidation resistance, while molybdenum and tungsten content provides good reduction resistance. Hastelloy C22 alloy also has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine and nitric acid-containing mixtures or oxidizing acids containing chloride ions.

The chemical composition of Hastelloy B2 includes a very small amount of carbon content. Hence, the flanges produced from Hastelloy grade B2 tends to resist the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates during welding in the weld heat-affected zone.

Hastelloy B2 pipe bend provides resistance to pure sulfuric acid and a number of non-oxidizing acids. The alloy should not be used in oxidizing media or where oxidizing contaminants are available in reducing media.

Hastelloy B2 is a nickel base wrought alloy with excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures.

It can be used in flue gas desulfurization systems due to its excellent resistance to sulfur compounds and chloride ions in most scrubbers.

The flanges also have 8.89 grams per cubic centimeter density and 1370 degrees melting point. The DIN 2.4617 Socket Weld Flanges and other flanges are used in high temperature, high corrosive and high stress applications due to the higher mechanical properties.

C-276 alloy is normally solution heat-treated at 2050¡ãF (1121¡ãC) and rapid quenched. If possible, parts which have been hot-formed should be solution heat-treated prior to final fabrication or installation.

Hastelloy c22 fasteners are also resistant to wear in high temperature atmospheres and corrosive environments. Some of the environments in which these fasteners exhibit resistance are oxidizing media, reducing media, chloride environments, and sulfur environments. They are resistant to attack by chemicals such as nitric acid, chlorine, sulfur, acetic acid, organic, inorganic, phosphorus, etc.

The exceptional corrosion resistance of C22 has promoted its use in many different markets wherever harsh environments are encountered, including the chemical process, pharmaceutical, food processing, oil and gas, power generation, and the paper industries.

C22 has excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation at elevated temperatures. However, C22 should not be used at temperatures above 1250¡ãF due to the possible formation of embrittling phases.
