Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium-based alloy that is commonly used in high-temperature applications such as aerospace and gas turbines. One of the most important factors in the production of ASTM B670 Inconel 718 Sheet is the plate rolling process. There are two main types of Inconel 718 plates available on the market: hot rolled and cold rolled plates.

Another important feature of the N08800 Incoloy Alloy 800 Cold Rolled Plate is its excellent resistance to chlorine ion stress related corrosion cracking, to which the metal, like its other Inconel counterparts is virtually immune to.

Commercially pure wrought Nickel with good mechanical properties over a wide range of temperature and excellent resistance to many corrosives, in particular hydroxides.

Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions. Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state. In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions the material shows good resistance, but in oxidizing salt solutions severe attack will occur. Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550C. Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de aerated acid.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy that is known for its excellent resistance to high-temperature corrosion and oxidation. ASTM B168 Inconel 600 Sheet is a flat plate of UNS N06600 that is commonly used in a wide range of industrial applications.

Hastelloy C276 SB575 4mm Thick Plate is by far the most commonly used alloy in different industries.

These Hastelloy C276 contain a mixture of molybdenum, nickel and chromium species. Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (a form of easily degradable austenitic stainless steel) in chloride-containing solutions. Due to its high chromium and molybdenum content, it is resistant to oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids and exhibits excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

UNS N10276 Sheets has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, pressure corrosion cracking and a far higher resistance to crevice corrosion than steels of alloy.

Nickel 718 plate has higher strength than Inconel X-750 and better mechanical properties at lower temperatures than Nimonic 90 and Alloy X-750. Nickel 718 coils offer excellent solderability compared to aluminum and titanium hardened nickel-based superalloys.

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-based alloy generally similar to Alloy 20 in water corrosion. It has useful resistance to boiling sulfuric acid up to 40% strength, 60% strength at 176¡ãF, and 150¡ãF at all concentrations.

Both alloys have the same chemical composition as Alloy 800 plate (UNS N08800), but the carbon content is higher in both grades – (0.05 – 0.10%) in Alloy 800H and (0.06 in Alloy 800H) – 0.10% ) 800HT board.

Although Alloy C276 plate has a higher rate of work hardening compared to its austenitic counterpart, in-process annealing may be required if nickel alloy C276 plate is to be work hardened to a higher degree. Solution annealing may be required if the deformation of the nickel C276 strip exceeds 15%.

Alloy 20 has a nickel content between nickel alloys and stainless steel. It can also be called alloy 20 stainless steel.

Hastelloy C276 boards can be easily welded using the most traditional processes. In general, 2.4819 Hastelloy C276 Coil does not require post weld heat treatment. Brushing these boards with stainless steel wire after the welding operation usually removes the hot color and likewise creates surface areas that do not require additional pickling.
